| Testing Of FIFO Buffer of NoC Router Using Bist: Survey S. Ram Suja, M. Deivakani Abstract – Networks-on-Chip (NoC) is a promising solution for on-chip interconnection in SoC due to its scalability, reusability, flexibility and parallelism. It is important to identify and rectify the fault in the Network on Chip. Testing is an important process to identify and rectify the fault in Network on Chip. In testing, FIFO buffers produce high throughput gain and reduce latency. BIST (Built in Self-Test) is used for testing the routing process. BIST strategy is used for testing the NoC interconnect network and explores if the strategy is a suitable approach for the task. The intention is to use BIST to detect faults and to be able to pinpoint the location of each defect and finally use this information to reconfigure the architecture. Periodic testing of buffers prevent accumulation of faults and also allows test of each location of the buffer. The periodic testing of FIFO buffers do not have much effect on the overall throughput of the NoC, except when buffers are tested too frequently. |

| On The Negative Pell Equation K. Meena, M.A.Gopalan, T.Swetha Abstract – The binary quadratic equation represented by the negative pellian y2=40x2-4 is analyzed for its distinct integer solutions. A few interesting relations among the solutions are also given. Further, employing the solutions of the above hyperbola, we have obtained solutions of other choices of hyperbola, parabola and special Pythagorean triangle. |

| A Study on Effect Mechanical and Impact Properties of Fibres on M30 Grade of Concrete Settipalli.SreeRamya, P.Mounica Abstract – Concrete is most widely used construction material in the world. Nowadays the world is witnessing the constructions of more and more challenging and difficult Engineering structures. Fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) is a concrete in which small and discontinuous fibers are dispersed uniformly. The fibers used in FRC may be of different materials like steel, G.I., carbon, glass, aramid, asbestos, polypropylene, jute etc. Generally, fibers used in concrete are to control cracks, shrinkage. Fibers also shows excellent resistance towards impact. The addition of these fibers into concrete mass can dramatically increase the compressive strength, tensile strength and impact strength of concrete. FRC has found many applications in civil engineering field. Based on the laboratory experiment on fiber reinforced concrete (FRC), cube specimens have been designed with steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) containing fibers of 0% ,0.5%,1%and 2% volume fraction of hook end Steel fibers. As same as glass fibers containing 0%, 0.5%,1%and 2% were used without admixture. FRC with plain M30 grade concrete, this paper validated the positive effect of different fibers with percentage increase in compression and splitting improvement of specimen 28 days, analyzed the sensitivity of addition of fiber to concrete with different strength. Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is a recent introduction in the field of concrete technology. GFRC has advantage of being light weight, high compressive strength. The aim of the work is to study the properties of effect of glass fibers as reinforcement in concrete for different proportions. Compression test are conducted on several cubes to measure the effect of steel and glass fibers on compressive strength of concrete. Similarly tension and impact test. |

| Dual Tree Discrete Wavelet Transform (DT-DWT) and Wiener Filter- A Review Ravindra Mishra, Anand Vardhan Bhalla Abstract – Visual information transmitted in the form of digital images is becoming a major method of communication in the modern age, but the image obtained after transmission is often corrupted with noise. The received image needs processing before it can be used in applications. Image denoising involves the manipulation of the image data to produce a visually high quality image. Selection of the denoising algorithm is application dependent. Hence, it is necessary to have knowledge about the noise present in the image so as to select the appropriate denoising algorithm. The wavelet based approach finds applications in denoising images corrupted with Gaussian noise. In the case where the noise characteristics are complex, the multifractal approach can be used. There is a wide range of applications in which denoising is important. Examples are medical image/signal analysis, data mining, radio astronomy and there are many more. The multi-resolution analysis performed by the wavelet transform has proved to be particularly efficient in image denoising. Since the early use of the classical orthonormal wavelet transform for removing additive white Gaussian noise through thresholding, a lot of work has been done leading to some important observations. Firstly, Better performances can be achieved with shiftinvariant transformations. Secondly, Directionality of the transform is important in processing geometrical images. Finally, Further improvements can be obtained with more sophisticated thresholding functions which incorporate inter-scale and intra-scale dependencies. Various methods have been attempted to take advantage of these observations, the dual tree discrete wavelet transform (DT-DWT) that uses two sets of critically sampled filters that form Hilbert transform pairs is popular. |

| Mitigation of Sag Using UPQC Tushar T. Balpande, Namrata R. Thakur, B. S. Rakhonde Abstract – Nowadays power quality problem is observed an unbalance voltage and current means sag and swell created. This effect to the electrical system. So to reduce sag Unified Power Quality conditioner (UPQC) device is used and maintain good quality of power and improve the power quality. UPQC is combination of DVR and STATCOM, It inject current and voltage to week transmission line in case of power quality problem. UPQC is compensating the voltage and current related problem. By using UPQC in transmission line mitigates the voltage sag and reduces the harmonic in the system and better result is obtained. The simulation is performed in MATLAB/Simulink R2013 and result is obtained. |

| Energy Audit for Different Institutes-A Review Priyanka N. Dhone, Pranoti V. Gadbail, Ashvini B. Nagdewate Abstract – This paper is review of energy auditing and process of energy auditing are presented in detail. A sincere attempt can made to conduct the Energy Audit at DES’s College of Engineering & Technology Dhamangaon Rly., to estimate the Energy consumed in a day, week and month. Identification of areas of energy wastage and estimation of energy saving potential in the Canteen, hostel, all Departments and Institute Central Facilities can made by walk-through energy Audit. Also, detail analysis of data collected can done by suggesting cost-effective measures to improve the efficiency of energy use. Estimation of implementation costs and payback periods for each recommended action can made. The results & vital information generated through these activities can documented. The Energy Auditing for a day is the index of the consumption which normalizes the situation of Energy crisis by providing the conservation schemes. |

| Traffic Management and Violation Detection Systems: An Open Challenge Gagan Preet Kaur, Gagan Prakash, Shaivee, Dimple Juneja, Tarun Kumar Abstract – The motivation for understanding the traffic management system comes from the observation that with the increase in the number of vehicles are increasing violation of traffic rules. One of the prominent factors responsible for violation rules is distracted minds from driving and negligent behaviors. In addition, violator’s vehicle is not tracked by human eyes and also makes drivers irresponsible about the traffic rules. Many automated traffic management systems which usually consist of computer vision and data recorder have been designed to capture such violations. However, owing to a report published in, the rate of traffic rule violation reflects that the existing automated systems are not fool proof. This paper reviews existing traffic violation detection and management systems and a comparative analysis of existing systems have been presented with the aim to improve the existing structure in future. |

| Matlab Simulation of Speed Control of D.C. Motor by Using Chopper Vrushali R. Pote, Monika K. Suryawanshi, Apurva A. Bhalerao Abstract – The proposed work express the speed control of separately excited DC motor using MATLAB Simulation. Basically, chopper is used as converter to control the speed of DC Motor. Chopper firing circuit gets signal from controller and further to achieve desire speed chopper signal from controller i.e. variable voltage given to the armature of the motor. The current and speed controllers are used for controlling purpose and to get stable and high speed control of DC motor. Eventually, the model is utilized with MATLAB (SIMULINK) under varying speed and torque condition. |
