1 | Optimization of Cutting Parameters in CNC Turning Operation for Optimized Surface Roughness and Material Removal Rate using Full Factorial Design of Experiment Approach Prateek Vaishnav, Gaurav Purohit Abstract - Obtaining desired surface roughness and Higher Material Removal Rates (MRR) is an essential prerequisite for any unmanned computer numeric controlled (CNC) machinery. In the present work, it is observed that, using full factorial design of experiment (DOE) approach, the quality of surface finish and MRR can be achieved within a reasonable degree of accuracy by taking highly affecting independent parameters into account. In the present paper, an attempt has been made to optimize the cutting conditions to get desired surface roughness and higher MRR in turning of 8011 Aluminium Alloy. The experiments were designed using Taguchi full factorial design of experiment approach in which (3^3) 27 experimental runs were conducted for all the combinations of cutting parameters. The orthogonal array, signal to noise ratio and analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to study the performance characteristics at different conditions. In order to analyse the response of the system, experiments were carried out at various spindle speeds, depth of cut and feed rates. The results obtained by this research will be useful for various industries and researchers working in this field. |

2 | Remote Monitoring and Control of Solar Pumping System Using GSM and Arduino in Egypt M. Kamal, M.A. Mohamad Abstract - In remote areas, the need of monitoring Solar Pumping Control System (SPCS) is very necessary to ensure stable operation, especially in the changeful weather areas. This paper describes the hardware design for the SPCS in remote areas. The monitoring system is equipped with different sensors to measure the DC electrical output parameters of the PV panel, AC parameters of the inverter, the PV panel's surface and ambient temperatures, the water level in the tank, dust accumulation on the PV panel's surface and wind speed to stow the panel in the case of storms. The system includes a moister sensor to sense the soil wetness and irrigation valves to control the flow of water to tank or to the soil. A GSM modem was used for data transmission and an Arduino microcontroller board was equipped to control the system and to collect the data from the sensors. Finally, a prototype platform for the SPCS was designed and implemented and the experimental results are presented. |

3 | Using Blockchain Technology for Design of Telemedicine System Based on Mobile Terminal Adkhamjon Toshtemirov, Grace Gregory Mihuba, Michael Joseph Shundi Abstract - The objective of this article is to design and construct a secure data exchange on mobile terminal using the Android platform and General Packets Radio Service (GPRS) technology based on a cryptographic approach for mobile telemedicine system. It uses the methods of constructing an Android operation system C platform and used GPRS network for remote wireless transmission of data and program by C for terminal's user interface. The results of ECG tests show that the terminal can realize functions such as ECG data acquisition, storage, and wireless data transmission, message, and phone communication, abnormality detection to trigger wireless data transmission. The doctor and monitoring center can receive the test results and ECG data via GPRS wireless network then send over to draw the corresponding ECG waveform and diagnose timely to provide medical advice. For transferring and receiving data without any changing in the system we are using cryptography approach. Nowadays blockchain is promising security challenges while technology suffering from security issues. We bring the blockchain to the telemedicine system to boot up its security. The terminal quite meets the demands of mobile telemedicine system and makes the foundation of community and family health care system. |
